Root beer XXX

Old school fast food is a thriving tradition here in Western Washington. No one has been able to explain to me exactly why but I’m not one to question it. If there are still places where you can get a great $1 cheeseburger and fantastic milkshakes or homemade root beer, I am on board!

Small Fryes - another great shake shack
XXX is a root beer and drive-in institution and is quintessentially Americana. It was great in the winter, but is probably even more so in the summer when all the vintage cars come out.
And yes, that’s the real size of that root beer float.
