Fraises au vin rose (Strawberries in rose wine)

- 1 punnet sweet, ripe strawberries
- 1.5 glass of rose wine
- 2 Tablespoons of sugar
- 0.5 teaspoons vanilla or vanilla extract
- 2 Tablespoons St Germain liqueur
- 4 sprigs lemon thyme (optional)
- Hull and half the strawberries. In a medium sized bowl, dress them with wine, sugar, vanilla, and St Germain. Mix well to combine,
- Let the berries macerate overnight, covered and in the fridge.
- Serve lightly chilled and topped with lemon thyme (or other herbs).
