Holiday time is one of my favorite times of year and not just for the usual reasons of eating, drinking, and being merry.
It is a wonderful time to give back, to gather your friends and family, to count your lucky stars and your blessings, and to be thankful.
This is what my second annual Friendsgiving dinner benefiting No Kid Hungry is all about.
In the US, three out of every five kids from low-income families have come to school hungry. No Kid Hungry works with schools, local organizations and state governments to build sustainable programs that provide kids with school meals.

I am getting ready to host this year’s NKH dinner – you can see the menu preview below! – and we are already more than HALFWAY to our target of 1k!
Please, consider donating here. Anyone who donates will get a fun s&h tote + goodie bag!
Hope to see you at dinner November 5th! And please, please, please support this worthwhile cause. There are a lot of problems in the world today that we, perhaps, can’t solve… but childhood hunger does not have to be – and cannot be – one of them.
