Merry Christmas and happy holidays from our home to yours, and from our holiday table to yours.
There have been both uncertain and certainly tough times this year so, it was particularly important to me to keep the holiday spirit going strong throughout the holidays.
And I think we managed to do just that with our festive table and cozy dinner.
Our menu included some new favorites, like this juicy persimmon & fennel pork roast, and the fastest thing to disappear off of the holiday table – cheese and herb puffs (hint: the simple recipe is here).
On Christmas morning, there was special sweet chocolate and mini-meringue cereal (merci, Dominique Ansel!) and eggs & caviar as we rummaged under the tree for our presents.
And, of course, my absolute favorite cranberry upside down cake from David Lebovitz for dessert (okay, one of many desserts – still making Christmas cookies tonight!)
Happy holidays, everyone!

It sounds like a lovely Christmas…I’m glad. I like your eggs and caviar, that is a delicious way to start the day.
