A myriad of peach recipes here (‘muddled, grilled, poached, or fresh off the pit’), including interesting tidbits on new peach varieties:
- Donut peaches: White; small and squat; low acidity
- Halloween peaches: Yellow; large and full flavored
- Indian blood cling peaches: Yellow; sweet-tart
- O’Henry peaches: Yellow; good even underripe
- Snow beauty v: White; delicate, floral, juicy
I already love cooking with peaches and putting them in summer salads but I also can’t wait to try out these Riesling poached peaches and the peach, walnut and basil roasted chicken (mmm).
