The past few weeks have seen me stop in Moscow and in Zurich, for a few days each.
Moscow was full of autumnal feelings and colors, and family birthdays.
… & those came with serious fun and serious birthday apple pies.
Zurich was sparkling on a sunny day, with its own special brand of glimmer and shimmer.
And its very own apple pie – strudel – no one does it better than the Cafe Schober. A visit there is a confectionary must.
The trip finished off with an as yet mysterious bike rally of chefs and maître d’s from The Savoy riding off into the sunset. They looked quite content!
I am loving following you along on your trip through various social media platforms. Great photos. Enjoy and wishing you safe travels.
Thank you, Bam! I’ve just made it back to New York (jet lag in tow!)
Moscow and Zurich? You are the most seasoned traveller I know 😀
Keep it up!
Cheers
Choc Chip Uru
Thanks, Uru!
That’s one seriously beautiful apple pie. I hope all the birthday celebrations were fun!
They were, thank you! And a bit of a riot with all the little kids running around haha
Every time I stop by to catch up on your life, you’ve been traveling and having so much fun. This trip sounds like it was especially nice. Just from the looks of the two apple desserts (both look wonderful) your time was memorable as well as delicious. 🙂
Haha I am staying put now through the holidays, Karen 🙂 but this was a wonderful, if packed, getaway. Fall is one of the best times of the year to enjoy traveling – it’s milder, less crowded..
