Do an all-out hangover brunch at the Hawksmoor on Commercial St. The reputable steakhouse is starting to serve brunch from 11am this Saturday onwards. According to the Londonist, you can expect, among other things: a mammoth full English for two, a ‘HkMuffin’ (an indulgent tower of sausage, cheese, fried eggs, bacon and English muffin, fillet roast, and wacky breakfast-themed puddings such as a surreally enjoyable cornflake milkshake.

Foreign countries confuse everything – I just read this post and panicked that I missed mother’s day and had to double check the US holiday list in google calendar to make sure it really is in May in this country.
