Vote in cake vs pie March madness! Can someone beat Apple Pie’s lead? I had fun explaining to someone what birthday cake ice-cream was the other day. Perhaps not the most naturally colored choice of ice cream 🙂 but still addictively delicious.
We’re going to Cocoa Box’s cupcake class today, so will report back on that. Should be fun!

Explore a foodie street (though the list in London is somewhat weak.. just Charlotte St). I think Bermondsey street is coming into its own a bit as is, unexpectedly, Charing Cross.
Then stop by London’s first Sherry bar, Pepito, or its sister restaurant Camino.

Make your own hash browns for breakfast, courtesy of Sam Sifton’s fun tutorial. ‘At first glance, it is the easiest recipe in the world, a marvel of the Sunday-morning ridiculous: grate potatoes into a pan with butter.’
The Chocolate Festival is upon us! Well, almost. It is in Brighton this weekend and in London at Southbank next weekend. You will definitely be seeing me there. I plan to go learn things but also to eat some Rococo salty caramels.
Go to the old-fashioned dining room (and cabaret!) at The Coach & Horses.
