After a long weekend full of little indulgences here and there, starting off the week right with this healthy breakfast.
Loving the tiny, end of season mara des bois strawberries with the crunchy sweetness of the honey pollen on top.
You’ll need:
- 1 1/2 cups fromage blanc
- 2 ripe yellow plums
- 2-3 strawberries (mara des bois, if you can get them)
- 1/2 tsp honey bee pollen
1. Whip the fromage blanc for about a minute with a hand or stand mixer, as if making whipped cream.
2. Slice the fruit and layer it with the whipped fromage blanc.
3. Sprinkle with little bits of honey pollen, and eat with a large spoon.

I love fromage blanc! It’s hard to get in the US (I usually do from Vermont Creamery but it’s TINY!).

I saw pollen and had to check it out. This is really unusual, in a great way!

Thanks! I’ve seen in used in a lot of posh desserts lately, but it’s really healthy and actually can be used in much easier ways like this one.

Widely available in health food stores and also starting to be used a lot more in desserts!
