So maybe, unbeknownst to me, roasted grapefruit became the Next Big Thing? I’m all too happy for this to be true!
I first posted about it in early December in ‘Simple is Great.’
In my house, we’re having them several times a week. Yesterday I had a superb lunch at Aquagrill which was followed by a dessert of roasted, lightly charred pieces of grapefruit, topped by candied grapefruit zest and icy grapefruit sorbet [see above]. Delicious.
And last week, the NY Times ran a Roasted Grapefruit with mint recipe. While not everyone loves grapefruit or, at least, as much as I do, everyone seems to love roasted grapefruit!
