Just back in from a wonderful time in Australia, brimming with ideas and energized for what will be a very busy February!
Back with five new cookbooks, numerous scribbled down recipes, donna hay magazines, koala and kangaroo cookie cutters (god knows why I need them), crumbles and chocolate clay from Burch & Purchase, and honey.

I can’t vote for cauliflower. I like it but Katherine doesn’t. But fennel and lemons and oh… good stuff here.

Fennel is one of my all-time favorites but I hope it’s lemons because that will force me to be more creative!

hard to vote this month, there is very little that is local and fresh to eat now, we are using our preserves big time! c

Meyer lemons are in season right now but not very local for either of us. But yes, February is depressing that way – I used some parsley in a sauce today and it just tasted so wintery bland.
