A belated hello from sunny France!
My week here has flown by, as is often the case, but it was still pleasantly full of wonderful memories…
Like magical painterly sunsets
Luscious Alsacian fruit tarts
And shopping around antique markets – see above – and indulging (over-indulging, perhaps) my love for fresh flowers and anemones, in particular.
As ever, much more over on Instagram!

Loving Thales beautiful hues. Equally adore how the tulips match the powder pink in the sky. Wherever would we be without Instagram! 🙂

A week in France is never enough…so many lovely things to see and do.The Alsatian tart looks so good and reminds me of an apple one I had the last time I was there. It had the thinest crispest crust ever.

Oh, it’s certainly never enough! I feel that pull to come back the same day as I’m leaving 🙂
I think one of the reasons I really love French tarts is that it’s less pastry (but it’s so buttery and crisp) and lots and lots of fruit. I saw a girl at a bakery making a tarte aux pommes and she used three-four large apples for each!
