After an indulgent weekend, as weekends should be, a simple, crisp salad for dinner.
You’ll need:
- 4 oz butterhead lettuce
- 2 tablespoons ricotta cheese mixed with 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
- 2 slices lightly toasted ciabatta
- balsamic syrup
- fleur de sel
1. Wash and dry lettuce leaves carefully. Toast the bread.
2. Mix ricotta with lemon zest and add some to your salad and/or spread some on your toast, if you’d like.
3. Dress the salad with fleur de sel and plenty of balsamic syrup.
