You’ll thank me for this, fellow pickle addicts.
Fresh, crunchy dill pickles ready in just a few hours (thanks, mom!).
Literally, I could be making these every day. They are really best in the summer when there are great kirby cucumbers around (so, not right now), but the flavors are so punchy that they make even your regular store-bought cucumbers taste great.
If you have dill seed heads, even better.
Dill pickles
You’ll need:
(increase this proportionally, as needed)
– 3 medium-sized cucumbers
– 1 tablespoon kosher salt
– 3 cloves garlic
– 4 tablespoons chopped dill + more fronds and/or seed heads, if you can get them (from your garden)
– large ziploc/freezer bag
1. Slice the cucumbers, chop the garlic roughly and prepare the dill.
2. Combine all of the ingredients in a large ziploc bag and shake it up.
3. Refrigerate for two hours and voilà!
{Just try not to eat it all in one sitting…from personal experience!}
What a fresh and delicious pickle recipe 😀
Cheers

I’m a pickle lover and pickle fiend. Luckily, my mother in law makes brilliant pickles, (but I might need to try this,) for myself one day! I love the crunch and sourness, yum yum! My mouth is actually watering!!!
I’m a pickle fiend too! In fact, they need to be taken away from me at times haha…. xx
Lol, I get so many, I love pickles, cheese & mustard!!!
