You will need:
- vegetable oil
- 1 diced shallot
- minced garlic (1 large clove)
- green beans (a pan-ful)
- soy sauce
- oyster sauce
1. Steam the green beans in a colander over a pot of simmering water, leave to cool briefly.
2. Heat up a spoonful of vegetable oil in a large pan or wok. Add diced shallots, green beans, oyster sauce to taste and a splash of soy sauce. Stir fry til bright green and crunchy. Add in the minced garlic in the last 5 minutes.
Easy and delicious! The oyster sauce lends a slight sweetness that will make this a popular vegetable dish with both kids and adults.
