I don’t really even know how it happened (don’t laugh!!).
When I started s&h in late 2009, it was an outlet for the culinary part of my life, which was a big part, but one that was still somewhat on the backburner, no pun intended.
I couldn’t quite believe it when I finally stopped talking about it in terms of “maybe’s,” quit my job, and enrolled at ICE last year. We learn the most by “doing,” and I had to DO IT.
After what feels like the fastest and some of the most validating 8 months of my life, I’m done.
It’s a little bittersweet. But we go on learning, right? And I couldn’t be more excited about it.
