I love breakfast – it is one of my favorite meals of the day.
My breakfast usually consists of almond milk and granola with berries or greek yogurt with cucumber and chia seeds.
It is such a treat not to have to rush in the mornings and actually enjoy your meal and catching up on news or with family – it doesn’t happen often enough.
All the stories over the past few weeks about the benefits of making breakfast got me thinking that we can all make time to prepare a substantial meal to start the day.
My kale, chorizo, and eggs (and my favorite Orwashers swiss health bread, lightly toasted) took all of 10 minutes to make and set me up for the day with a well-balanced meal and a good amount of protein.
I’m curious, what do you want to make more time for in the mornings?

What a great looking breakfast you have there! I would enjoy that, of course! I’m out the door so early in the morning I don’t eat much at home. I have oatmeal and yogurt at work sometime a little bit later, usually with plenty of fresh fruit. i’d love to have some time in the morning to read a bit! Something inspirational perhaps! Reading and a couple of good cups of coffee and I’d be very pleased. 🙂

I often end up having two breakfasts, if I am up early 🙂 It’s so great to hear what we all aspire to!

That looks like a fine breakfast to me. And you are correct….we should not hurry the first meal…or any meal for that matter!
