Festive times are upon us and, despite general global gloom, there is much to celebrate.
Just this week I get to celebrate friends’ new beginnings, career milestones, Santa (and his donkey) coming to town, anniversaries, and exciting brand launches (more on this later!).
To help you get into that extra festive mood, here is a pretty flowery drink. It builds on my favorite gin and tonic – a classic combination – with the addition of subtle floral and fruity flavors.
Cheers! And, remember, to also raise a glass to yourself. It’s been a long year and you deserve it!
{ps.} More uses of edible flowers here in this honey recipe!

A festive and pretty flowery drink to say cheers to the holiday season!
Ingredients
- Blackberry Spindrift
- Gin
- Fever Tree Elderflower Tonic
- Juniper berries (optional)
- Edible flowers (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a cocktail shaker, lightly shake together one part gin and two parts tonic. Add in a few juniper berries if you'd like.
- Pour into a tumbler glass with lots of ice. Top with blackberry seltzer (I used Spindrift because it's particularly fruity and uses real berry juice).
- Top with a chrysanthemum or a pansy for extra flowery cheer.
