Happy Mother’s Day!
Remember to treat your mom and have a fabulously indulgent day today.
Head on over to VRAI to read about my adventures with my mom at a candy factory in Kanazawa, Japan (all very Lucy & Ethel). Click to check out our cute uniforms – I wish we had gotten to keep them!
Or – more proactively – make some crepes, cookies, strawberry-rhubarb shortcakes or chocolate macaroons for your mom and enjoy these Mother’s Day desserts together, whenever possible, treasuring these little moments that are oh-so-special.

What a stunning dessert round up Ksenia. Those sugar cookies had me drooling! Glad that you got to spend some quality time with your mum. As I get older I want to take every opportunity to spend time with mine. She’s definitely the wisest and strongest woman I’ve ever met 🙂 xx

Thanks, Laura! It was a special trip for us because – living in different countries most of the time – we rarely get to travel and explore new places together 🙂 xx

All of those desserts sound like wonderful celebration treats. Strawberries are finally ready here and rhubarb is still going strong, so that will be featuring in a lot of my baking in the next little while.

I love that baking plan! 🙂 Just getting the strawberries here (they are from Delaware) and that makes me quite happy.
