Really enjoyed that glimpse of sunshine yesterday, with a subsequent walk in the park, lots of tea with friends, cozy sweaters, and cozy food like cabbage rolls stuffed with veal or sweet dumplings with cherries. . .
I would love to make chestnuts the ingredient of the month this month, but I do not think any of us will be able to source them in the necessary quantities. I still plan to buy some ‘lazy’ peeled ones in France next week to take back, toast, and crumble on top of my spicy butternut squash soup.
