I do not usually like to divide meals into “weekday” vs “weekend” meals. I know the names generally imply the amount of time you would spend preparing said meal, but I do not subscribe to the rule of “indulgence” only on weekends rather than whenever time is available!
That said, it is a new school year, it is fall season, and this is the kind of roundup of recipes that I would like to see myself, which is why I am sharing these Simple Fall Meals with all of you! Many of them do come from my Simple Suppers series that can be equally valuable any day of the week. It is a wonderful chance to revisit some S&H classics or to discover new flavors – enjoy.
Fun for the whole family – my son also loves quiche for a quick lunch or dinner.
Do not be afraid of the char! That’s the honey doing its thing, and who does not love the smell of fresh tarragon.
I have apparently been pronouncing rösti incorrectly this whole time (it’s not at all “RAW-sty”) but, luckily, making this dish is much easier than saying its name! Here is another rosti dish.
Much quicker than it sounds and also a crowd-pleaser.
Pasta with Braised Garlic and Tomatoes
Here is a fun pasta dish to throw into the mix, full of familiar flavors done a little differently.
Extremely French decision to have a perfect omelet for dinner, in my humble opinion.
Quick and good in a snap! You can also freeze some pesto for a future pasta dish.
{Reminder that you can always find more “related” and recommended recipes right below this post.}
